I have had a wonderful experience working with Dr Metivet. I adopted a puppy during a 6 month work assignment in Paris and Dr Metivet has been his health care provider during my time here. My husband and I have not had a dog for over a decade and Dr Metivet does a great job explaining everything from a health and development perspective. He has a great manner with my dog as well and each visit has always been a great experience for me and my pet. Highly recommended.

One of the best vet in paris. I strongly recommend Dr metivet. Without him I don't think my little dog would have survived. He truly loves animals and he's really accurate in his diagnosis. If you're looking for the best in paris, here he is 👍👍

I found Dr. Métivet through a travel-with-dogs blog and so glad I did. After living in Paris for six months we had to obtain travel documents to return to the US with our dog. His office is a short walk from our apartment which made it very convenient. The staff on check-in was very efficient and congenial. They even didn't mind my very bad French. But Dr. Métivet speaks English very well so I had no problem communicating with him during my dog's exam. Dr. Métivet gave my dog a thorough exam and completed the paperwork while I waited. He is a very kind vet and I am happy to have found his office in Paris. As our family travels here a few times a year, it's nice to know we have a regular vet we can go to in Paris.

I have known Dr. Metivet for over 15 years. He and his staff are by far the best. They are compassionate, caring, and very professional. His prices are more than reasonable and he and his staff are always available to answer my questions, even when I am in the US. They were extremely helpful and caring during the loss of my beloved cocker, Josephine, and continue to take excellent care of my little black and white cocker, Annabelle. I highly recommend Dr Metivet, Isabelle, and Ambre to anyone looking for a great veterinary clinic in Paris.

Dr. Métivet is a very compassionate and well-informed professional veterinarian who happens to speak excellent English! This is a great comfort if, like me, you have just moved to France and are not secure in your French language skills - especially when discussing your pup's health issues. His assistant is lovely and friendly too - good with both people and animals. The doctor was most helpful in advising me on medication (including the importance of tick control in rural France), and nutrition for our older dog. The office is spotless, in a convenient location on the ground floor. Easy to access. I highly recommend this clinic.
