Haven't been inside yet, but the outside is absolutely stunning, architecture of the highest quality, stunning gardens as well, and can get some phenomenal photos!

Impressive paintings inside and some statues. The architecture of the building is also pretty incredible. And the audioguide is included in the price of the 18 euros i paid for 4 museums.

Absolutely beautiful! The collection of French impressionism is not super extensive, but what they have is very nice. However it was their romantic stuff that blew me away, absolutely stunning. The architecture of the building is also pretty incredible. And the audioguide is included in the price of the ticket (only 10 euros, not bad. 5 if you're a student) which is very nice.

Definitely worth a visit. One rooms with a set of painting by world famous artists, most of the pictures are about 19th century Berlin. In my book this makes it worth a visit and you really get a feel how in many aspects Berlin hasn't changed at all with many buildings very recognisable today

Definitely worth going to if you enjoy the painting styles of the 1800s (romanticism, impressionism, photo realistic portraiture, etc.), which I certainly do. The collection is consistently interesting throughout. It may not have as many famous paintings by well-known masters as some galleries, but for the extensive collection of German works, I'd say it's worth seeing. They also have a fabulous room with (mostly) lesser known works by many of the French impressionists, including at least one sculpture by Rodin that I'd never seen, and I love Rodin.
