Perfect for nature walks.
It's mostly flat, comprises grasslands and canals (can get fairly muddy), there's a lake, a few swamps, and generally there's enough of it to keep you busy for hours. You'll spot horses, ducks and the occasional rabbit.
It's great for riding a bike as well.
If you're coming in from the city (I started on Bochumer Straße), the adjacent neighbourhood is lovely, with every house and garden different from the next.
