Favorite Park‌hotel Mainz

Booked two rooms, was given two in the older section of the hotel, which do not match the pictures - the bathrooms we're updated, but bedrooms were very dated. The rooms smelled musty - strong enough to give us all headaches in the first 30 minutes and make us check out. There were bugs and spiders in the rooms and hallways, and access from reception involved a block-long outdoor walk. One of the rooms had a shower that would not drain, and maintenance was not available until the next day. Front desk staff was helpful, but wasn't able to help address the issues with the rooms.

Nice rooms, not a lot of privacy without closing the blinds. Some noise from the road. Awesome views of the park, a short walk to downtown Mainz. Parking garage is tight, but you might luck out finding spots across the street m

Nice armosphere, but the burger I had was not home made for the price. Disappointing.

Excellent location. Creative food and very nice rooms. A "must" choice for staying at Mainz!

Very nice hotel. Stayed here two times. There is a large difference between the rooms in the new and old part. Rooms in the old part aren't bad, but are outdated and in current time not up to 4 star standard. The new rooms however are very nice, modern and large. Since I only came to sleep I didn't care too much about the rooms, but since they cost the same, it's better to ask for a room in the new part of the hotel. Breakfast is super, a lot to choose from and served in a beautiful breakfast room. A very good start of the day. Also the Bierkutsche is a nice place to eat and serves a very good burger
