Delicious Cretan slow food with lots of choice of freshly made dishes everyday. Everything is cooked with fresh organic ingredients, mostly from their own farm and enriched with the delicious flavours of fresh herbs.
Lots of choice for vegans, vegetarians and others.
We will be back.

Family owned, with a large variety of extremely tasty dishes. The father, vegan for 35 years, wakes up at 5am to prepare home-cooked- style Vegan Cretan meals... As 5 stars as it gets!!

One of the premiere vegetarian restaurants of Chania - and one of best eating establishments of ANY kind in Chania. This is a family-run place with the owner almost always on site. One gets the distinct impression that you are like a guest in his home and that his paramount concern is to see you blissfully enjoying your meal. Many of his dishes differ dramatically from the typical run-of-the-mill tourist places in Chania and he is happy to explain the origins and history of each dish he features. Even dedicated carnivores will not miss their beloved meat when dining at this place. The flavors and textures are so savory meat - lack thereof will be the furthest thing from your mind.

As the only vegan in a family of meat eaters, I was not the only one who thoroughly enjoyed themselves at To Stachi. They had lots of freshly made dishes, satisfyingly wholesome and healthy, that were skillfully flavoured with traditional herbs and spices. The cordial staff cared gracefully and enthusiastically about our orders which provided a professional yet welcome ambience. I cannot recommend the place highly enough (and I seldom post reviews)!
Also I cannot recommend enough to speak at least a little Greek while you're visiting!

What a lovely place! It's a tiny nice family run restaurant. Food is just great, everything is very tasty and, in addition, very healthy. Try the good organic beer as well. On top of of that, whatever kind of request you should have, they do their best to make sure you will leave with a happy smile. Highly, warmly recommended!
