Great experience! I did a hike up Carrauntoohil (with 2 others in the group) with Daragh as our guide. He did a great job bringing us up the mountain by the Devil's Ladder and down by O'Sheas Gully. Visibility was very low as cloud had settled over the mountain, but Daragh clearly knew his way. This type of mountain with lots of rock scramble was new to me and Daragh was outstanding at guiding me and the other two up and down the mountain, giving a helping hand (or shoulder) and encouraging us throughout the trip. He also told us about other mountains around and answered all of our questions. He even shared his tea and chocolate with us. Great guide and a tough, but good day climbing the highest mountain in Ireland!

Michael, our tour guide, went out of his way to make our trip a truly memorable one. He had great stories and was a very knowledgeable historian. This tour was much more intimate and "off the beaten path" than many of the other tour companies in Killarney. I highly recommend this business and especially Michael, our favorite tour guide!

We had a great company outing with Mór Active tours last July when we kayaked from Ross Castle to Inisfallen island for a guided tour amongst the monastic ruins and the resident deer.
Their equipment was top notch and the knowledgeable guides helped to make the day an enjoyable and informative one.
Will definitely be back for more adventures

We received the personal touch from Michael and his team at Mór Active Tours while on a day trip through Gap of Dunloe this past June. They provided a unique itinerary with no extra costs for boat and horse jaunting rides and tailored the day to what we wanted to do. The area itself is breathtaking and beautiful, which you will see on many other tours. With Mór Active, we were able to stop when we wanted to take photos and take time at all the attractions. Lots of time to explore Ross Castle before our trip through the lakes, jaw dropping scenery everywhere through the Gap, delicious lunch break at quaint Kate Kearney's Cottage and extra stop at panoramic Aghadoe, not offered on other Gap of Dunloe tours. We were made to feel special, not being part of a large tour. Would highly recommend Mór Active for any tour in the Killarney area and wherever they offer tours throughout Ireland. On our next trip, we will have to try one of their Kayaking tours. Thank you again for one of our best days in Ireland!
