It's a good restaurant for local grilled food. It had a bingo game and our table won this game and got a ¥2000 discount. This restaurant has reasonable prices. It costs ¥300 for most of the dishes. What's more, the waiter there knows English. It's convenient to order food.

You have to go here! Worth coming to Osaka for alone.
An incredible atmosphere, fantastic food, really really cheap.
There's an English menu but much more fun to point to the stuff you like the look of.

Great "robatayaki" restaurant. Customers are seated around a great big grill where the cook cooks for you. Mostly seafood but also some meats and veggies. A bit noisy but a fun experience. Not recommended for large groups because it's quite hard to hear anybody sitting more than 2 seats away. Great for a bit of entertainment and fresh food. They have an English menu but it's somewhat outdated. Most customers just shout their orders at the cook directly but that won't be possible in English. For groups with no fluent Japanese speakers, I recommend sitting at one of the tables in the back (where you can use an English menu to point at what you want with a waiter) but that will take the fun out of it a bit.
Reservations are absolutely essential on the weekend.
