Great sake tasting to UK pop from 1960s. Perfectly cool hangout place for a gaijin crowd on a Friday eve.

Great sake and great company! The owner is very knowledgeable and so very hospitable. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back if we are ever back in Kyoto! Thank you for the most lovely evening!

A diamond in the mist. This is the sake bar we were looking for. Owner is a gentlemen and the Sake is the best I've tasted. Great atmosphere and great music!

Though a little off the beaten path, this bar is well worth the visit. Unassuming and removed, Kadota-san's bar provides the most welcoming service and makes you feel at home immediately. He is well versed in sake and even more surprisingly the local craft beer scene. Ask for his favorite band and he'll play you something from The Who or Jimmy Hendrix. Perfect for after dinner drinks and conversation.
