Museum closed since 3 September 2017. Will reopen in 2020 in a brand new building. Some contemporary paintings can still be seen in a couple of dedicated rooms in the National Gallery.

The place itself is worth a visit, the exhibition was interesting and adequate for the price being so low.

Lovely building. Nice shop. But the exhibition on at the time (SNAP) was very dull - like a kind of "jumble sale" of random photos. So my advice is check what the current exhibition is before you go.

Love this building!! Though the museum is going to be moving to a new building, and the exhibits are rotating continually, it is always a great place to go in Oslo on Thursdays for FREE entry.

Great little museum. Not the best conteporary collection. The building's interior architecture alone is worth the price of admission.
