An independent bookstore owned by one of greatest novelists in Philippine literature, F. Sionil Jose. It has a great selection of books on philosophy, mysticism, arts, travel, and Filipiniana.

When you enter, you're greeted with a smell of books, charming old music, and, of course, a great selection of books. Went here directly to buy F. Sionil Jose's Gagamba and the Rosales saga's The Pretenders. Great reads!

This is the most intelligent bookshop in Manila. Go there for serious books on Philippine literature, history, philosophy, politics, etc. For books on how to get rich quick and how to take care of your dogs, go to the other bookshops. The owner, F. Sionil Jose, is the foremost Filipino novelist and the most widely translated into foreign languages.
