Food was good, waiter attentive. Not quite the menu choice we expected going by what was shown on the opposite side of the road but we'd eat there again so there's a recommendation:-)

Typical tourist hotel, good breakfast provided, rooms were average but our TV news worked , neither did air conditioning, great location near to dozens of local restaurants and an easy 20 minutes walk to downtown

Beautiful gardens and great pools! For me the bedrooms were nice, relatively spacious with a bathroom, small kitchenette, fridge, built in wardrobe and safe (you pay extra for the key), TV and balcony with a view of the mountains. Staff always smiling and very helpful!!! Most Portuguese speak English as well.
However my family was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness as after three days we actually had to ask for more shower gel and shampoo, also nobody seemed to sweep or wipe the floor or wash toilet for us. Breakfast has a relative choice of food, great fresh bread. Also gluten free cornflakes and bread. Pool snacks (burgers etc definitely not worth it!) Restaurant Luigi in the resort has a good pizza, also they had a gluten free option. Two convenience stores just outside the resort offer a range of gluten free food, fruit, dairy and holiday classics!
