Take the "Plate Kurelj", a meal for two having almost a kilo of various meats, plus fries, dumplings, vegetables... It is good enough for four people :-).

This restaurant has a good food selection, it serves large portions. The staff speaks English and is very helpful. This is a kids friendly place.

The place was recommended by the owners of the apartment we stayed in. It's a small but quite busy local restaurant in Zasip, very friendly staff speaking good English. The menu is quite large and offers interesting local meals with a list of allergens in each meal, very useful for us as we both eat gluten-free. We came here twice, food was really delicious and portions quite big to feed two people :) We were recommended a lovely white wine - Holojan, which we liked so much that we went to shop and bought a bottle for home. Grilled cheese and mixed grill meat were very delicious served with lots of grilled veggies and salad. If you're looking for a local style lunch at a very reasonable price Gostilna Kurej is definitely worth visiting!
