Food and service are good, but I think overpriced and could be better. The crowd is mostly old and pretentious (or touristy), but that’s to be expected from expensive places at Stureplan.

The food was delicious! We got the Swedish meatballs and they were the best we’ve ever had. We also had the steak tartare and the egg yolk with truffles, as well as creme brulee for dessert, and all of those were so good as well. The waiter was nice, there were some waits in between but I think that is standard for the area. The place itself also had a really cool setting. We would highly recommend it!

Was looking for somewhere to have traditional meatballs and believe I found the perfect place. Very friendly staff and amazing food in large portions. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommend to everyone

Prinsen is a pricey restaurant with a pretentious clientele to match. Coming here in a group of 7 after a day of sight seeing made us feel slightly out of place. However the staff, smartly dressed in their sailor-ish suits, was always very nice and attentive and the food made it all worth it. The menu is super varied and dishes were sophisticated and, most importantly, delicious.
Would definitely consider going back on another trip to Stockholm.
