One of the better restaurants in Bristol. The food is bang on, the service is good and the restaurant is pretty. I will definitely be back for more.

Absolutely delicious food. Atmosphere is perfect for an intimate dinner or gathering with friends. This restaurant can get crowded quickly, so I would recommend making a reservation. Somewhat expensive but it's a meal you will remember. Excellent service.

Very red-meat focused, some of the best beef dishes I've eaten in Bristol. It's a lovely place to eat and the restaurant has been designed to suit the food being offered; it's warm and ideal for eating beef and drinking red wine.

Undoubtedly the best Sunday roast I've ever had! I'd recommend the sirloin.
I really liked the unlimited sparkling water for £1 too!

Went to Cowshed last night for the first time, now I'm not a big fan of steak so very rarely will i order it in a restaurant. After seeing the reviews on the steaks i thought.......when in Rome and all that. Christ on a bike the steak I had was absolutely amazing. I could have eaten it again but I'm not sure my partner would have been too impressed about me having 2x £28.50 steaks.
Yes, it's pricey but I would 100% recommend it as you do after all pay for quality, if you want a £10 average steak and pint off you pop to weatherspoons. People moan about the portion size but it was spot on for me.
