The staff will fuel your vehicle for you, up until 4pm daily, allowing you to use the coffee machine, browse the store and then just join the queue to pay. The staff are all polite and personable.

Just reopened after a major rebuild (2014). Seems pretty much exactly the same as before the rebuild. One change is that the "free" air machine has now been increased in price from 20p to 50p. Not only are the company doing their best to ruin the environment, they are charging 50p for access to air and water!
Surely they make enough on the petrol (normally more expensive than other stations and, particularly, other Shell stations (e.g. on the A52 near Spondon) to allow their customers to get the air and water for free.
