Another wonderful park in the centre of Nottingham. This runs into the main University campus. There is a large boating lake and a decent café. If you walk up the slope, past the grand Trent Building, you'll discover delightful gardens tucked away​ in various corners. Just beside the Law studies centre, you'll find this magnificent statue of D. H. Lawrence (who dismissed the Trent Building as 'iced cake').

A lovely place to take the family! Nice walk around the lake, across the stepping stones, and past the crazy golf. Fun on the playground, and at the craft workshops. Enjoyed the puppet exhibition and masks and the paintings on display in the galleries. A should visit place.
