This is our 'go to' restaurant for Indian/Nepalese food and we eat in and take-away.
What we like:
- We have always found the food to be tasty and of good quality.
- Additionally the restaurant offers a few out of the ordinary dishes, like momos.
- Also, they are flexible: I often ask for something slightly different and the team provide it without any fuss at all. Equally I've asked for the spicyness to be adjusted and, again that's done pleasantly and effectively.
- Service times for take-aways are fast.
- The staff are helpful and friendly.
What we don't like:
Nothing! One thing to note: we do generally collect our food largely because we prefer to, but also once when delivering the driver came without change for the payment.
Other stuff:
Recently the restaurant hosted us with a big party celebrating a birthday and they coped admirably: getting all the food out at the same time with appropriate breaks between courses and being relaxed & helpful in the preparations beforehand with cakes etc.

Nice food.
But a bit more expensive than a lot of other places that are just as good.
Also spam you with texts if they get your number.

The food here was absolutely Astonishing! My family and I lived it every bit, the chicken MOMO starter is delicious and the chicken tikka is amazing!

We've always had lovely food here. We've never had a bad meal and the service via delivery or when eating in is absolutely spot on!
Tonight, it turns out that I messed up my order via the HH app. Gurkha Express couldn't have done more to help sort it out. (They didn't have to either as I'd screwed up, not them!)
A huge thank you again, not just tonight but for every time we order!
