I was misdiagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon. One visit with Dr. Sastri and he knew that I had bursitis, not tendonitis. He injected my knee and for the first time in almost a month I could walk pain free. His medical assistant Sue is an angel! I highly recommend this practice to any one with chronic pain.

This is a neurology office that is ill-equipped to handle those with head injuries as it was made clear by the new patient coordinator. they originally scheduled and appointment for 1pm and they would email me a new patient packet since I live an hour away from the office. My email came with a new appointment time of 3:45pm, I figured they had to move it for some sort of reason but it actually worked in my favor as far as a ride to the appointment went. However the day before the appointment I receive a phone call from the coordinator confirming my appointment for the next day at 9AM! When I expressed my confusion she immediately talked over me and said that was the only time we had agreed on for the appointment. (not true, and remind you that I have a TBI history- Traumatic brain injury. and there's a list of side effects that can NOT be helped at times including those from stress) so in an angered moment after an offer for an office manager I asked "yes let me talk to the f***ing office manager" she said she would connect me and cancel my appointment as well as she will not tolerate that language. The office manager, as nice as she could be, worked with me to get my appointment back but only gave the coordinator a verbal warning for confusing my appointment time. This is an office who I can understand on the one hand shouldn't tolerate language (which I apologized but I CANT help it) but when dealing with people with head issues/ injuries they really should expect some of it with a grain of salt and give the patient a warning to calm themselves down. This is an office who should be the most understanding the most for these people, and this was an utter fail, for if they cant be the least bit understanding, who will give these people a chance to function normally in society with the help they so truly need?
