I was told by another dentist that I needed a root canal, because there was "a hint of a beginning of an abscess" on the x-ray of a tooth that was hurting. He said there was no sign of a crack in the tooth. I went to Ruby Canyon for a 2nd opinion, and the hygienist (who was fantastic) showed me pictures of a HUGE crack on top of the tooth, and Dr. Derek Dean saw no indication of any abscess. I went back and Dr. Dean and his assistant, Nelson, did a great job of putting a crown on the tooth. They even let me watch some of the process of making the crown, which was very interesting. Best of all... NO ROOT CANAL! :) I am extremely thrilled with the quality of care I received, and will continue to be a patient there from now on! I highly recommend this practice!

I went to have a dental cleaning with the hygienist Shelby! She was so nice and polite! Made me feel real welcome like I was at home. I guess everyone was real nice great people, Mandy is the best assistant ever. And Dr. Derek is the man! Thanks Dr. Derek you and your staff are absolutely amazing! I won't go anywhere else for my dental needs.

Dr. Dean and his staff are compassionate, fair and honest. When I had an issue from another Dental office and was getting ready to go on vacation they took me in last minute to help me. They repaired the problem for a minimal charge even though they were not the original Dental office that I spent thousands of dollars with for procedure. I have been through 5 dentist in 6 years and never felt comfortable. I have now moved my entire family to Ruby Canyon Dental. Highly recommended. Everything is done in house therefore no waiting and they take care of you!!!
