Lovely bathhouse. Private [clothing optional] baths — both singles and doubles (couples), plus options for aromatherapy bath salts and hydro silk. Public thermal pools as well (varying temperatures to boot). Friendly, courteous staff. Additional spa services too.

Paid for the couple's private bath and absolutely loved it! The staff was very friendly and service was super quick especially if you make a reservation 24 hours in advance.
They put you in your own small private room with a big tub full of water jets and let you soak in the spring water for a 20 minute session. Those minutes seemed to fly by, but it was very relaxing and any longer would've got too hot! Afterwards they provide you cool water and a damp rag to cool back down in the sitting area. Will definitely be coming back!

I recently took a private bath here and it was great! The staff was friendly, gave me a pony tail since I forgot mine, and after the bath they gave us face towels that were cold with cucumber lotion on them. It was very refreshing. Thanks for a great first experience in Hot Springs!

The Quapaw Bathhouse is actually part of the National Park Service, as is almost half the town of Hot Springs AR.

The Quapaw bathhouse closes only on Tuesdays and for the first 2 weeks in January for maintenance.

Daily visits cost $30 per person or $110 for 3 months. The price includes the use of their towels and bathhouse sandals. There is plenty of ice water available and a Cafe that serves lunch in the premises.

There are 4 pools in 2 levels and the water temperature varies from 96F to 104F.

A variety of massages is also available on the premises:

Swedish, Deep Tissue: Targeted (for areas that need more attention), Hot Stone, Foot massage and Bamboo Fusion.

The staff is courteous and helpful.

My wife and I were staying in the Gulpha Gorge Campground and RV park which is also part of the National Park Service and was just a quick 5 minutes drive from the Quapaw Bathhouse.

Visited the bathhouse for the first time 2 years ago.

Was a nice building, with interesting historical decor. Restored, but with very modern bathrooms and showers. Admission prices were fair, but be aware of their hours as they close earlier than expected.

We had to purchase some sandals as we didn't know there was a sandal or water shoe requirement when walking around the bathhouse.

We soaked for a little over an hour, trying a few of the different temperature pools, from the barely warm to the hottest. All the pools are indoors, in a single large stepped room. Its a semi quiet experience when its not busy, and I imagine would be really great during the winter months.

Overall it was a fun experience. We wanted to compare this to some of the other hot springs we have soaked at in Colorado which was a totally different experience.
