Great massage's. Poor facility. Waiting room is way too small and the ventilation is horrible from the attached nail salon

I might have loved this place. I was visiting from out of town and called for a pedicure appointment after finding them on Google. Made an appointment and as my uber driver approached the address, he realized we were about to drive into the actual Ft. San Houston military base. No one told me when I called that I needed to have a base clearance to even visit this spa. I called back and the receptionist acted like I should have known this, and was rather unfriendly about cancelling my appointment. Not apologetic at all. Fortunately there was another place nearby, Sky Nails, that was open and accommodating.

Good massages, friendly service. They'll work with you on scheduling, too.

They will not let you cancel your appointment. Called a couple hours ahead and they said it would still be charged half the price.

The actually shop is very clean and organized. The front desk guy was nice and polite. The lady that did massage was also nice and polite. Now the actually massage. I scheduled a deep tissue sports massage and it definitely was not a deep pressure massage. Pretty much felt like she was rubbing her forearm up and down my back and shoulders the whole time. I'm sure some people like that style but I was expecting a full deep tissue to work out the knots I get in my shoulder regularly. Only reason I'm not rating this place lower than 3* is because of how nice they are and how clean it is. I definitely won't be coming back here while I'm here at Fort Sam.
