Lindsay at Utica Square gave me more than a facial she spent extra time to address my acne and really knows her stuff. I would highly recommend her.

Got a recommendation from a coworker and decided to give it a shot. Overall, I was pretty unsatisfied with my experience here. The lady who cut my hair seemed angry the entire time, and didn't really listen to my requests before she started cutting. I also wasn't aware that there were salons that "don't use clippers. ever.", according to her. My resulting haircut was OK at best, definitely have had better (and cheaper) haircuts elsewhere.

I know there are people that are regulars here and like it, but it isn't for me. Definitely make sure you get recommendations on specific stylists if you want to try it out.

I've had nothing but good experiences at Ihloff. I love my hairdresser Al. She does a great job and she's so much fun to talk to. Before my 50th high school reunion they made me pretty - great hair style and even did my make up. I will admit I was concerned that this place would be too elitist for my liking. Absolutely not. I feel very comfortable and very much at home here.

Unless you are prepared to spend a great deal of money on salon services then Ihloff may not be for you. Much like other reviewers have said, the prices they advertise and quote are half of what you will actually pay. The price I was quoted for my balayage and cut on the phone was just under 200 total. I left the salon today paying $312!!!!!! I WAS SHOCKED. They nickel and dime you for everything. They charged me for the toner!?? That has always been included everywhere else I've gone! The stylist I had was very thorough and talented- really liked her! However, I'm sorry to say the experience was just not worth several hundred dollars.
