This is my favorite bar in Tyler. It's non-judgy and the bartenders are great. It has a strong base of regulars, and if you go here enough it becomes a Cheers. There's a pool table, foosball, and darts. Wednesday is karaoke. It is a sports bar so it's buzzing busy when a popular game is on. You can also catch a good soccer match here. Sports zone also has a surprisingly good food menu, too. The pizzas are great. They have salads and sandwiches, too, and one of the best veggie burgers in town.

Y'all may be reading reviews of the previous place. New owners have done an incredible job of designing, remodeling, and equipping grateful customers with premium service. Plus games!!!!!!!

They have this new bartender that just left a bad taste in my mouth....took my friend with me and he said the same thing. Made us pay right when we ordered our drinks. Never had that happen before, anywhere.
Came again with a girlfriend the next time and he made her uncomfortable by the way he was rushing her and made her feel bad for ordering a martini because" it is busy in here and that takes too long." Bummed her mood out, ugh. She was ready to go after that and so was I. Which is bad because EVERYONE else that works there is the best.
I look to see if he is in there now before i go in. Lol, its like he is the Tyler Soup Nazi off Seinfield.
