Nice pub in Old Quebec. Food is very good. But like any touristy city, it's a bit overpriced. But for a good meal, local beer and a fantastic ambiance you can't go wrong.

Pub St-Alexandre is typical British styled pub serving mostly typical fair. I went down during the lunch hour and was able to be immediately seated. I soon ordered up a smoked salmon salad and a local beer. Other reviews seem to remark on poor service but the multiple staff I encountered were all exceedingly friendly, accommodating and quick to bring me my meal. However this was on a weekday in the mid afternoon before the dinner crowed appeared. Either way if your passing by it's certainly worth stopping in.

Terrible restaurant. Terrible food and terrible service. Went for dinner with my husband. Both ordered the steak frites. Steaks came out very quickly (almost too quickly - wondering if they were even made to order) . What we got was defintely some type of beef but it would not be accurate to call it a steak. Neither one was cooked to the temperature that was ordered. Both were disgusting . The whole experience lasted less then an hour and cost way too much. Not too impressed considering it was suppose to be a nice dinner out on a short weekend away.

Had to wait a while for our order because it as so busy here but our waiter staff Maxim was awesome throughout the whole time. He periodically checked on us to reassured it won't be much of a longer wait.
My wife ordered steak well done and it was still juicy. Best chicken burger I've ever had. Favorite restaurant to eat at next time I'm in Quebec City.
