Oasi naturale meravigliosa, parco WWF, consiglio abbigliamento da trekking e tanta voglia di camminare. Lo consiglio vivamente per una bellissima passeggiata con i bambini, immersi nella natura. Purtroppo non c'è nessuna organizzazione affidabile relativa al parcheggio auto nelle aree limitrofe ma come spesso accade il tutto è affidato alla "iniziativa di privati".

If you want a portal to the tropical world in Europe then this is the right place. Not extremely dense but it has somewhat dense regions inside and also ups and dows that you can hike a little. Although 11€ is a bit too much for a tiny forest like that and those life size statues of ancient creatures are very educating although they kill the forest spirit a bit. Watch out for the vipers near that lake.. and don't expect a literal translation of Lago Grande... it's a tiny lake although very beautiful... ducks and other birds. .. frogs.. and of course if you are lucky enough, black viper (I don't remember the name but it is a viper).

Wow, just wow. We have been really close and I didn't realize it back then. It looks incredible in the Maps. I'll definitely have to revisit Naples just to see the crater 'from the inside'.

It's a good hike down the volcano and it's nice finding a preserved world in a very metropolitan area. If the gentleman collecting the 6 Euro fee (Per adult, kids free) tells you it's an 8 meter difference from the top down to the bottom you'll soon discover he meant to say 80 meters.
