Service was totally unbelievable! I arrived at 330pm for a late lunch, ordered a tomato juice, lobster soup and beef tartare sandwich. One of the staff, an elderly man came and placed on the opposite side of my table, tablemat and cutlery. He then went to the next table to do the same; yet for the young German couple, he placed the mats and cutlery directly in front of them. It was strange, why is mine away from me where there is nothing to obstruct their placement?
The tomato juice was served at 4pm and shortly after the soup. He ignored my mat and cutlery which were on the opposite side and plonked the soup in front of me! The soup was very salty. I couldn’t get anyone’s attention so walked to the front bar and requested for a replacement with no salt also requesting no salt either for the beef tartare. I waited and waited and waited. The young girl who took my soup away went to the kitchen to check and it wasn’t until 440pm that my soup arrived, then another 1/2 hour for the beef tartare.
Soup tasted fine with a strong taste of lobster. Beef tartare had a lot of paprika and unusually smeared to the bun served with hard boil egg and cos lettuce. It would have been good to have a vinaigrette dressing on them as it was very dry.
Will I go back? With this kind of service, not on your life!

Just awful. We waited 15-20 minutes just for drinks, another 30 minutes took them to serve a soup in coffee cup. After this they just forgot about our main dish!!

This cafe is very beautiful. The food was good. The staff forgot to give my friend his food, so that was a minor disappointment. They apologized and fixed it quickly though.

Food just fair. Service slow. Nice building and decor. It's far from cheap. But the most important is: you will met the rats there. Yes, walking through your legs probably. When we saw them I called the waiters and he said: "Oh yes, we know about that, but there's nothing to do, this is a very old building... "
Unfortunately it's happened when we were checking out. But I still trying to not think about what we ate there. Really disgusting.
The health authorities must go there.
