Tasty traditional Dutch food based on mothers' recipes. Love the pictures of all the mothers on the walls. Outdoor seating on the side of the restaurant is a great spot.

Best home cooked food in Amsterdam. Very rich heritage, incredible flavors that make you feel right at home, awesome decoration and service. All for a very reasonably price.

Excellent service, the food was local and authentic. Amazing!! You must make reservations or call ahead on busy nights. Must not miss the local food at this spot while here. Staff treated us as family, menu was in Dutch and English just underneath.

The first time i went to Amsterdam i wanted to try typical Dutch food but was very difficult to find a place. Usually Dutch food lean on Indonesian cuisine as the typical to eat; until i bumped into this place. It was full and reservation was required but they managed to seat me outside. The waitress was kind and smiled all the time. Decoration in this place is awesome and the food is incredible. I am returning to try every simple plate they serve.

When we went the place was full! We were able to sit outside, which was great as it is right beside a lovely canal. Even though the place was full to capacity, our waiter was incredible, he was very attentive to everyone sitting outside and he kept everyone happy! The food was good, spare ribs portion was huge! I would definitely recommend eating here.
