Chanced upon this restaurant after midnight on a Saturday yet nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful Serrano ham, butter soft steak and rich Rioja. Heaven.

If you are a non Spanish visitor don't eat here. As a non expert in tapas food I asked the waiter to advise me .He recommended a local specialty of gambas followed by shrimp.Vary large portions of both arrived,approximately twice as large as the person eating beside me. I realised I was being ripped off and ordered no more items. The bill came to44.50. Visitors beware

If you are looking for a sold, traditional restaraunt then this is the place to go.
We were greeted by a humourous waiter who was enthuisastic to serve us. He recommended wines which were excellent for the food we chose. He provided some great suggestions on local food specialties and we appreciated some complementary aperitif at the end of the meal. Service was excellent, food was tasty with good presentation, the setting of the restaraunt had a homely feel.
Overall we had a wonderful experience at this restaraunt.
