The restaurant has permanently closed in this location. It is now the terrace bar of the Restaurante Cien Llaves in the Casa de America building, Paseo de Recoletos, 2 – 28001 Madrid.
Whether or not it has become a shadow of its former self is not obvious.

Cocktail and tapas is amazing. ....nothing rustic about this place....2 dishes is enough......Yucos bravas & bombons carne were my choice.....be warned this is not a cheap place to eat

This place has been getting a lot of hype on Yelp... and it's all true! The place so nice we came here twice. We were only in Madrid for less than 72 hours, but we came here twice. As people who love our food that says a lot!
The bombons de carne... abso-effing-lutely amazing. Little burger patties topped with caramelized foie gras and truffle mousse. There is NOTHING wrong with any of that and you know it. Every other dish we had was a little familiar, but with unique touches. I think that combo makes a great bite.
The cocktails are also very good, flavors paired perfectly.
If you have a chance, sit at the bar. It's practically the chef's table where you will see Chef Ben create amazing dishes while also speaking fluent Spanish, English, and French. It was such a great experience so if you're ever in Madrid, make sure you find yourself here for a few bites and a cocktail or two. Trust me, it will be a nice break from the jamon y vino!

My favorite venue in Madrid without a doubt!
Great for an after-work drink or dinner.
The cocktail bar is one of the best I've found in Madrid where there isn't a well established cocktail culture (Spaniards are more into beer, wine and gin) the staff is very professional and when it comes down to drinks, they know their stuff.
The restaurant serves a selection of contemporary tapas, which changes often but always keeps a couple of favorite classics.
It is not cheap, but the value for money is really good. I always have cocktails, plenty of food plus wine and it works out at about 50€ per head (that's usually cause I like to splurge;)
This is one of 2 places where I always take friends visiting in Madrid and every experience has been memorable.
